Anger. Is it a useless emotion, or a potential source of power and strength? An avenue to conflict, or the fuel to feed our courage?
Today I finally read this book, On Tyranny by Timothy Snyder - and quite frankly, it is a paralysing read within our current political landscape. Clearly and factually analysing the terrifying likeness of Trump’s path to power, with that of the Third Reich, this book is the written equivalent of ten hungry lions roaring “hey guys, let’s go kill something!” in unison. How’s your coffee, Janice? We good?
You know what I am sick of? Political apathy preventing humankind from achieving substantive change in the area of renewable energy.
When the people lead, the leaders will follow. So hear my call to arms, people - and let’s lead already!
I am a feminist. I believe all women are entitled to equality in all forms - i.e. culturally, economically, politically and socially. I believe all women have a right to an education, to contraception, to a career, to a vote, and to equality in their relationships.

All forms of extremism are forged through fear, manipulation and an acute empathy deficit, as was so repulsively demonstrated by the recent massacre of 50 Muslims in Christchurch, New Zealand. Cowardly, self-serving world leaders continue to deny the rise of white nationalism and far-right extremism - which leaves us, the people, to demand the fundamental deliberative of equality, love and tolerance of ourselves.
The 2018 Global Slavery Index report states that $127.7 billion worth of garments at risk of including modern slavery in their supply chain are imported each year by G20 countries. These imports help to bankroll a global economy that trapped 40.3 million people in modern slavery in 2016 - 71 percent of whom were women.
If you identify as a fashion-loving feminist, then you need to know the facts.
Did you know that throughout the holidays, Americans produce approximately one million tonnes of extra waste a week? Or that Australians throw away roughly 50,000 trees-worth of wrapping paper?. More alarming still is the realisation that these figures aren’t in isolation. They occur and, in fact, increase every single year.
So what can we do to stop this far-reaching festive fuck-up?
In the wake of the #MeToo movement, Trump said that it is ‘a very scary time’ for young men and that women are ‘doing great’.
Wait, what? Seriously?!
Let’s take a look at Pathological Narcissists throughout history, in order to navigate our present political climate.
Did you know that breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women and approx 1 in 1000 men?
My intelligent, hilarious, beautiful and courageous sister, Eliza, was that one in the eight. Her strength and positivity throughout her journey has been so incredibly inspiring and I’m so wonderfully proud to be her little sister.
We've all been guilty of fast fashion crimes. The notion of finding that bargain - of trumping the system! - appeals to each of us. But at what cost?
Fashion Revolution Week aims for greater transparency in the fashion supply chain by encouraging consumers to ask brands #WhoMadeMyClothes?
Feminism. Everyone knows her. Everyone talks about her. She’s been on the cover of TIME magazine three times now. Yet to many people she’s still the other-other ‘F’ word.
Join me in my tête-à-tête with the very talented Feminism, to talk to her about her changing role over the years.
